Andrea started riding at an English riding school at the age of 8, having the opportunity to ride under many now Olympic riders. By age 14 she knew riding was more than just a passion and wanted to learn everything about horses. The summer she turned 14, she was a working student under an Olympic Eventing rider. Andrea decided to continue her education in dressage, and by working under the careful guidance of a talented coach and rider, Andrea succeeded at winning numerous awards on the Trillium Dressage circuit and se continued her training up to Prix St George Level.
In 1992 Andrea was accepted to the Humber College Equine Program and graduated from the Coaching Diploma Program receiving her Equine Canada Level 1 Coaching Certificate in the Western discipline.
Andrea now holds her Equine Canada Competition Coach Specialist - Western Speed Events and is currently the Ontario Equstrian Federation Master Evaluator for the Equine Canada Western Coaching Program.

Andrea loves to compete in Speed Events such as Barrel Racing and Pole Bending and has competed worldwide on Agenda Jamer who she raised and trained, placing at the National Barrel Horse Association World Championships in 2000.
Even though she loves turning barrels and poles, she still applies all of her dressage training when starting her young horses and riders.
Andrea has produced many young riders who have gone on to compete worldwide, as well as mentored them to teach and train on their own, in many disciplines.
Working with nervous and/or older riders on confidence issues is another one of Andrea’s specialties.
Andrea loves starting young horses, and is always up for a challenge! Learning something from every horse and learning something from the partnership between every horse and rider.
Learning with horses is never ending and Andrea’s open mind and compassionate heart continue to bring new experiences to her and the horses on a daily basis.
